Brite for Remote Workers: Organizing Your Day Without an Office
Working from home requires extra discipline. Brite gives you the structure of an office day with the flexibility of remote work.
1. Structure Your Day with Time Blocks
Use the Schedule widget to create a daily structure:
- 9:00-9:30 — Morning standup / planning
- 9:30-12:00 — Deep work block (turn on Focus Sounds)
- 12:00-13:00 — Lunch break
- 13:00-15:00 — Meetings and collaboration
- 15:00-17:00 — Task completion
Remote work is full of distractions. Use Pomodoro timer (25 min work / 5 min break) to maintain focus. Pair with Focus Sounds — brown noise or rain sounds work best for concentration.
3. Track Work and Personal Boundaries
Use Tags or separate Spaces to keep work tasks separate from personal. Set a "work end" habit at 5pm to remind yourself to stop working.
4. Meeting Notes and Action Items
Use Notes for meeting minutes. After each meeting, create tasks for action items with deadlines — they'll appear on your schedule automatically.
Every Friday, review your week: what got done, what didn't, what to carry forward. Use the Completed Tasks view to see your progress. Adjust next week's plan.
