Brite for Students: Complete Setup Guide

Brite is a powerful tool for students who need to manage classes, assignments, study sessions, and personal life — all in one place. Here's how to set up Brite for academic success.

1. Set Up Your Class Schedule

Use the Schedule and Calendar widgets to map out your weekly classes.
Create recurring events for each class (e.g., "Math — Monday & Wednesday 10:00-11:30").
Connect your school's Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar to import class schedules automatically.

2. Track Assignments and Deadlines

Create a Project for each course or semester.
Add assignments as tasks with due dates — they'll appear on your schedule.
Use subtasks to break big assignments into smaller steps (research, outline, draft, review).

3. Build Study Habits

Use the Habits widget to create daily study routines:
- "Study 2 hours" — track with a daily habit
- "Review flashcards" — set as recurring habit
- "Read 30 pages" — use counter widget

4. Use Pomodoro for Focus

The Pomodoro timer is perfect for study sessions:
- Standard: 25 min work / 5 min break
- ADHD-friendly mode: 15 min work / 7 min break
- Pair with Focus Sounds (rain, lo-fi) for concentration

5. Exam Preparation

Create a project called "Exam Prep" with subtasks for each subject. Set deadlines counting back from the exam date. The AI Assistant can help: "Create a study plan for my math exam on June 15th" — it will distribute study sessions across your calendar.

6. Notes and Journaling

Use Notes for lecture notes (supports text, images, checklists, code blocks).
Use the Diary widget for daily reflection — it helps track your mood and progress.
