Getting Started with Brite in 5 Minutes

Welcome to Brite! This guide will help you set up your personal productivity system in just 5 minutes. Whether you're a student, professional, or busy parent — Brite adapts to your lifestyle.

Step 1: Set Up Your Main Screen (1 minute)

Your main screen is your command center. Tap Edit at the bottom to customize it.
We recommend starting with these widgets:
- Tasks — your daily to-do list
- Habits — daily routines you want to build
- Schedule — hour-by-hour view of your day
- Calendar — monthly overview
You can always add more later (29 widget types available).

Step 2: Add Your First Tasks (1 minute)

Tap the + button or tap inside the Tasks widget to create a task.
Try adding 3 things you need to do today. Set a date and time if they're time-sensitive.
Pro tip: Use the AI Assistant — just type "Add task buy groceries tomorrow at 5pm" and it creates everything automatically.

Step 3: Create a Daily Habit (1 minute)

Open the Habits widget and tap + to create a habit.
Choose from 80+ pre-built habits (exercise, reading, meditation, water tracking) or create your own.
Set it to repeat daily — you'll see a streak counter that motivates you to keep going.

Step 4: Connect Your Calendar (1 minute)

Go to Settings (tap your avatar) > Extensions > Calendar.
Connect Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook — your events will appear in Brite automatically.
Changes sync both ways, so you can manage everything from one place.

Step 5: Explore and Customize (1 minute)

- Dark Mode: Settings > Appearance > choose from 6 themes
- Projects: Group related tasks together with subtasks and notes
- Finance: Track expenses and income with the Finance widget
- Shared Spaces: Collaborate with family, friends, or team members
- Focus Sounds: Ambient sounds for concentration (rain, forest, ocean)
