How to Build a Morning Routine with Brite

A consistent morning routine sets the tone for your entire day. Brite makes it easy to build, track, and maintain your ideal morning — one habit at a time.

1. Design Your Routine

Start simple. Pick 3-5 morning activities:
- Wake up at a set time
- Drink water
- 10-minute exercise or stretching
- Journaling or meditation
- Review today's plan in Brite

2. Create Habits

Open the Habits widget > tap + for each activity. Set them all to repeat daily. Order them in the sequence you want to do them.

3. Set Reminders

Set a reminder for your first habit (e.g., 7:00 AM). Once you start the first one, momentum carries you through the rest.

4. Use Focus Sounds

Play ambient sounds while doing your morning routine — birds chirping, gentle rain, or lo-fi music. It creates a calm atmosphere and signals your brain that it's "routine time".

5. Track Your Streaks

The habit streak counter shows how many days in a row you've completed each habit. Don't break the chain! Even on hard days, doing a minimal version keeps the streak alive.

6. Review and Adjust

After 2 weeks, check which habits stick and which don't. Replace or simplify the hard ones. A morning routine should energize you, not stress you out.
