How to Use the Diary and Journal in Brite

Brite's Diary widget lets you write daily journal entries, reflect on your day, track your mood, and build a journaling habit.

Adding the Diary Widget

Tap Edit on your main screen > find Diary in the widget gallery > tap Add Widget.

Writing an Entry

1. Open the Diary widget
2. Tap today's date (or any date)
3. Write your thoughts — no rules, no format required
4. Optionally add a mood (happy, neutral, sad, etc.)
5. Your entry saves automatically

Templates

Brite offers 5 diary templates to help you get started:
- Free writing — just write whatever comes to mind
- Gratitude journal — 3 things you're grateful for today
- Daily reflection — what went well, what could be better
- Goal check-in — progress toward your goals
- Mood diary — track how you feel and why
