Weekly Review: How to Plan Your Week in Brite
A weekly review is the most powerful productivity habit. Spending 30 minutes each week organizing your life prevents chaos and keeps you on track. Here's how to do it in Brite.
Pick a consistent time — Friday afternoon or Sunday evening work best. Create a recurring event or habit: "Weekly Review" so you don't forget.
Step 1: Clear Your Inbox (5 min)
Go through all unprocessed tasks. For each: do it now (if < 2 min), schedule it, delegate it, or delete it. No task should be undated or unplanned.
Step 2: Review Completed Tasks (5 min)
Open your completed tasks for the week. Celebrate wins. Notice patterns — what tasks keep getting postponed? Why?
Step 3: Check Goals and Projects (10 min)
Open each active Project and Goal. Are they progressing? Update progress bars. Add new tasks if needed. Close completed projects.
Step 4: Plan Next Week (10 min)
Switch to Week view in the Calendar. Block time for important tasks. Schedule meetings. Add recurring commitments. Leave buffer time for unexpected things.
Step 5: Review Habits (5 min)
Check your habit streaks. Which habits are sticking? Which aren't? Adjust — remove habits that don't serve you, add new ones that do.
