Revamping the Brite Mac App
We understand the central role that the Mac app plays in your workflow. That's why we're dedicating significant resources to overhaul the Brite Mac app, making it more intuitive, robust, and feature-packed.
Expanding the Brite Ecosystem
Come March, we anticipate the launch of an updated Apple Watch app—a leap forward in on-the-go productivity. This will be closely followed by the introduction of a dedicated Outlook integration, ensuring that your Brite calendar becomes the nerve center of your scheduling needs.
Android and Windows Take Center Stage
Android users can look forward to dedicated tablet support coming in April, with a tailored Brite experience that harnesses the unique capabilities of tablet devices. The second half of 2024 will witness the debut of a dedicated Windows app, crafted to deliver a powerhouse of features for our Windows users.
Revolutionizing Day Planning
The new Schedule Mode is set to launch by the end of March. It's a visually engaging and interactive way to plan your day with drag-and-drop functionality—a perfect alternative for those seeking a more precise day planning tool than a traditional calendar.
Forging a Stronger Community
In mid-March, our new Community Centre will go live on the Brite website. This platform will centralize user interactions, replacing scattered Facebook groups and forums, and foster a space where users can exchange tips, share experiences, and inspire productivity.
Enhancing Input Intelligence
May will see the introduction of an updated input recognition engine, capable of extracting specific data like dates, times, and mentions from task or event titles, streamlining task creation and ensuring nothing gets overlooked.
Collaboration at the Forefront
Our biggest goal for the first half of 2024 is to launch new collaborative features. Shared projects, dedicated workspaces, shareable tasks and notes, task assignments, and cooperative chat—all are in the pipeline, with a beta planned for late March.
Seamless Migration Tools
To make onboarding a breeze, we're developing migration tools for users to import their data from platforms like Apple Reminders, Todoist, TickTick, Google, and Microsoft To Do.
Content-Rich Updates:
- Note & Project Templates: In two weeks, users can expect an initial roll-out of 10 templates for notes—spanning categories like movie lists and recipes—and several project templates conducive to both personal and collaborative use.
- Daily Inspirations: Our content team is curating an uplifting series of daily quotes. An additional 50 quotes are slated to be added to the app, providing daily motivation and reflection.
- New Habits and Routines: We're not just adding new habits; we're also introducing 'Routines'—small sequences of habits that users can adopt as morning or daily practices. This will also include a library of suggested routines, like the Huberman routine and other wellness-focused sequences.
Sound & Meditation Library Expansion:
- The recent update already brought a collection of new meditation sounds. We're planning to continue expanding this section, along with more goals for the goals library, catering to a wide array of aspirations and wellness needs.
Enhanced Widget Experience:
- iOS Widgets: Significant improvements are being made to the iOS widgets for a more integrated and informative experience right from the home screen.
- Android Widget: Looking ahead to June, Android users can anticipate the launch of a Brite widget, bringing a slice of Brite's functionality to their fingertips.
